Vincent Prault

Went to ISU after a year at Northern. Did things in reverse. Did well at the beginning and then decided that I couldn't pass up a good party. Finally graduated in 1988. I now hold the Prault record for longest time from high school to Bachelor's degree. I've been very happily married for over 31 years to Marilyn. I honestly don't know what I would do without her. I've had three careers, all in Manufacturing. I worked for a the Eurekas Company (vacuum cleaners), Mitsubishi (cars) and now Caterpillar. The last 20 years has all been in the HR field. That wasn't my prediction in 1973. Who plans for a career in HR? Love to fish, study the Civil War, read, and hang out with people just like the ones I grew up with.

I have way too many memories to record them, but like I said at the reunion, I'm not sure where I parked my car this morning.

I do remember Miss Mills taking me for a private conversation to ask if I was on drugs. Said she heard a rumor in the teachers' lounge that I was.
I remember that I was very fortunate to grow up where I did and with the people I did. I would bet it's a very small percentage of people who look forward to class reunions like we do.

Finally, Mark Benoit-I'm sorry I ratted you out to Mr. Knop when I got caught drilling holes in the work bench.

Our daughter Laura was married on Labor Day weekend in 2012. It was a great party. I have a great son-in-law and his name is Wesley. That sure gave him a leg up when she brought him home. Michael has a Masters degree in Fine Art from the University of Georgia and is hoping to become a professor somewhere. Marilyn and I will be married 35 years on June 3rd and as of 5/13, I AM RETIRED1111
